Data Operations and Stewardship Partner

Astellas Europe is seeking a skilled Data Operations and Stewardship Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Data Strategy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Data Product Owners in owning and operating data management and data lifecycle processes, including ideation, experimentation, design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Ensure data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, profiling, quality, and reference data management processes are performing well, with clear roles and responsibilities and documentation.
  • Understand business gains and pain points, support tool selection and implementation, and perform business operations for data governance, quality, cataloguing, lineage, and metadata management.
Requirements:
  • Relevant data experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on commercial data domain, data lifecycle management, and data quality.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of data governance, security, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and/or R, and expertise in utilizing data lineage and metadata management tools.
  • Experience in developing business cases, articulating customer gains/pains/journey definition, and Agile methodology and design thinking.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional moderate/complex projects in a multi-cultural context.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with visualization tools like Qlik View/Qlik Sense and/or Tableau.
  • AI/Gen AI experience and Data Science experience.
