Opportunity for an Experienced Midwife to Lead Our Continuity of Care Team

Are you a dynamic and passionate midwife looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative midwife to lead our established case loading team, Blossom & Bloom, offering continuity of care to women and their families planning to birth in the community setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Community Matrons and other Continuity of Care leads to develop new teams and implement the next phase of our CoC plan.
  • Manage one additional team once established, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and embracing positive change.
  • Support women choosing to birth at home or in our free-standing birth centre, promoting our plans to improve continuity of carer.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our commitment to constantly improving our maternity service. As a member of our team, you will work closely with staff at all levels across the Trust, supporting each other to achieve our goals.

Person Specification

  • Registered Midwife with a 1st-level degree or equivalent further education course of study.
  • Evidence of CPD and IT training or practice to demonstrate data recording and interpretation on a relevant hospital system.
  • At least 3 years' experience in an NHS healthcare setting, with proven management and leadership experience.
