This Opportunity:

The successful candidate will work closely with the UKEA Head of Legal and Compliance, supporting commercial contracting, compliance, and corporate governance initiatives across various projects and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, including services agreements, joint ventures, and grant agreements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

• Develop and maintain relationships with external counsel and other stakeholders

• Contribute to the development of training programs for colleagues on contracts, compliance, and entity maintenance

Requirements:

• Degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent) and qualified lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction

• Significant experience in commercial contracting, compliance, and corporate governance

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Estimated Salary: £100,000 - £160,000 per annum
