Health and Disability Assessment Role
The role of a Disability Assessor involves conducting assessments to understand how an individual's health condition or disability affects their daily life. This includes gathering personal experiences, asking questions, and producing a factual report to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining their eligibility for benefits. This is a key role within the Maven Consulting Group Ltd, and the successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position.

As a Disability Assessor, you will work closely with clients, understanding their unique needs and circumstances, and providing information that will help the DWP make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to gather information about an individual's health condition or disability
- Producing a factual report to support the DWP in determining eligibility for benefits
- Working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and circumstances
- Providing information to support the DWP in making informed decisions
Requirements:
- NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year or more broad post-registration experience
- Proactive and keen to learn
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competent IT and computer skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
We offer:
- Excellent starting salary at £40,000pa
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm working hours
- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
- Norwich based when working on site
- Annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 10 more days + pension
- Hybrid/home working available
- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided
