Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Reaseheath College. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide generalist HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and staff across the college, including recruitment, absence, conditions of service, policies, employment legislation, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on employment-related matters, including recruitment, absence, and conditions of service.
  • Work closely with the in-house Payroll Team to prepare and check monthly HR information for payroll purposes.
  • Support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development Business Partner and Diversity and Inclusion Manager to support the learning and development and equality, diversity, and inclusion agendas for the college.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives to support the college's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in HR, preferably in an education sector setting.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • High level of IT skills and competence in HR software packages.
  • Member of the CIPD and qualified to Level 5 or equivalent.
