We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team at MacGregor Black, an award-winning recruitment agency.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the recruitment industry, working closely with experienced professionals and developing key skills.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in all aspects of recruitment, from sourcing and managing data to writing job adverts and collaborating with consultants.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Update and manage our internal company database, Bullhorn, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Source and manage data regarding current and potential target companies, clients, and candidates, utilizing your research skills to identify new opportunities.
  • Write and post compelling job adverts across our company website, LinkedIn, and external job boards, showcasing our brand and attracting top talent.
  • Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to support them in sourcing candidates via internal applications, LinkedIn, or external job sites, leveraging your communication skills to build strong relationships.
  • Contact candidates and phone screen them for roles at all levels on behalf of the Recruitment Consultant you are supporting, using your interpersonal skills to assess candidate fit.
  • Collaborate with consultants across all industries to source job leads and potential business development opportunities, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Develop and improve your business development skills, reaching out to desired clients via telephone and email to establish new connections and drive growth.
  • Create detailed prospective candidate profiles to send to potential clients, highlighting their skills and experience.
  • Manage interview schedules for candidates and clients, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication.
