About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Adult Eating Disorder Service. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a comprehensive pathway for adults with severe and enduring eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a pathway for adults with severe and enduring eating disorders
  • Provide occupational therapy provision within the wider adult eating disorder service
  • Work alongside other disciplines to develop a comprehensive pathway
  • Offer professional consultation to other professionals and services
  • Support and provide packages of care with an OT focus

Requirements
  • Recognised OT degree/diploma and registration with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience of working with adults with mental health needs and eating disorders
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
