About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Specialist in Adult Eating Disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team to develop and deliver high-quality services for individuals with severe and enduring eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive pathway for adults with severe and enduring eating disorders, working closely with other disciplines to ensure a well-coordinated and effective service.
  • Provide occupational therapy provision within the wider adult eating disorder service, including offering professional consultation to other professionals and services.
  • Support and provide packages of care with an occupational therapy focus, working with individuals to develop and implement personalized plans.
  • Contribute to the development of local strategic developments of service provision, with opportunities to influence and shape adult long-standing eating disorder provision on a wider and national level.

Requirements
  • Recognized OT degree/diploma and registration with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working with adults with mental health needs, including those with severe and enduring eating disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills and experience of managing a complex caseload.
