Job Title: Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex trauma.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience working with adults and/or children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and additional needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing bespoke assessment and intervention plans, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans for individuals with complex needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on occupational therapy best practices
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to occupational therapy services

Requirements:

  • Relevant occupational therapy qualification
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Training in sensory integration
  • Experience working with adults and/or children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and additional needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
