We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Adult Eating Disorder Service. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a comprehensive pathway for adults with severe and enduring eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of a pathway for adults with severe and enduring eating disorders
- Provide occupational therapy provision within the wider adult eating disorder service
- Work alongside other disciplines to develop a comprehensive pathway
- Offer professional consultation to other professionals and services
- Support and provide packages of care with an OT focus
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent clinical and professional expertise in occupational therapy
- Recognised OT degree/diploma and registration with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Ability to travel between sites and a full UK driving license
- Experience of working with adults with mental health needs and complex caseloads
- Effective multi-disciplinary/agency working and interpersonal skills
- Experience of designing and delivering learning and development opportunities for staff teams
