About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Property Owners team in the London Market. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating, pricing, and underwriting property insurance risks within delegated authority limits.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess new and renewal submissions and negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients.
- Manage and monitor the performance of the property insurance portfolio, building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and intermediaries.
- Analyse risk information and apply sound judgement to make informed underwriting decisions, as well as identify and assess risk exposures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working as an Underwriter, ideally with experience underwriting Property Owners risks in the London Market. You will also have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and intermediaries.
