As a Strategic Partnerships Manager at Expedia Group, you will play a key role in unlocking the power of our travel technology development for our premium partners. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with key decision makers within our global hotel chain partner organizations, troubleshooting operational queries, and improving the competitiveness of our B2B offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic partnerships plans to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to enhance existing partnerships through maximizing sales opportunities
  • Monitor hotel chain & "Private Label Solutions" partner production reports, identifying areas of opportunity to drive incremental revenue
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, sales, operations, product, and analytics
  • Monitor market trends and provide regular competitor feedback
  • Lead & own regional engagement with external commercial stakeholders, building relationships and identifying areas of opportunity to grow the business
  • Implement best practices across the strategic partnerships team in the areas of cross team data sharing, scorecard management, sales collateral compilation, and training/educational opportunities across EG
  • Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure smooth partner integration for new partners
  • Assist in the identification and analysis of potential solutions to address the business need

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's in Management or any related field; or equivalent related professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience with account management, revenue management, business development and/or consulting
  • A strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships internally & externally
  • Ability to think outside the box: investigate business trends, make recommendations, and take ownership, all with minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of the hotel industry and B2B sales landscape
  • Analytical skills to draw insights from data and formulate commercial actions
  • Very strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
  • Passion for long term relationships with both internal and external customers
  • A great teammate who can lead by influence
  • Tech-savvy with some ability to communicate technical product features effectively
  • Works well under pressure and can pivot quickly and easily
