Fellowship in Coronary Intervention

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Fellow in Interventional Cardiology at the Lincolnshire Heart Centre, based at Lincoln County Hospital. This 12-month post will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to consolidate their interventional cardiology training and gain extensive experience in all aspects of coronary intervention.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute NHS Trust providing comprehensive healthcare services to a population of 750,000 patients. Our Interventional Cardiology service performs over 900-1200 PCI procedures annually, offering a wide range of intracoronary imaging, physiological assessment, and adjunctive treatments.

Main Responsibilities
  • To perform approximately 400 solo or first-operator procedures during the 12-month period.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of clinical research studies in interventional cardiology.
  • To contribute to the education and training of junior staff members in interventional cardiology.
Salary and Benefits
  • A salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
