Surgical Team Lead

Optical Express, a global organisation dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes, is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Team Lead to join its prestigious clinic in Cambridge.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining world-class surgical team standards throughout the clinic. This will involve leading and supporting a team of surgery assistants, nurses, and surgeons in ensuring targets for Laser Eye Surgery and Intraocular procedures are met through effective utilisation of resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implementing systems to ensure world-class surgical treatments and appropriate patient outcomes
- Motivating the surgical team to achieve clinical KPIs and treatment volumes
- Providing support for efficient and productive use of surgery time, maximisation of surgery lists, and accurate reporting
- Managing Clinical Governance and HCC systems centrally, ensuring full compliance
