We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient coordinator and secretarial services for the Paediatric Neurology Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Paediatric Neurology Department, including filing, reception, and telephone duties.
- Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
- Work effectively in a busy team, adjusting to change and motivating others.
- Provide supervision and support to others, while working independently to manage own workload.
- Handle difficult conversations with patients, relatives, and carers with confidence and professionalism.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
- Utilize Microsoft Office 365 packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to maintain accurate records and reports.
- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
- Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
- Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception.
- Experience of dealing with the public, both on the telephone and in person.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
