Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistants for SEND Classrooms

Mad 4 Recruitment Limited is currently recruiting teaching assistants to support students with special educational needs in SEN classrooms and one-to-one settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a difference in the lives of young people.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum frameworks and assessments, as well as experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.

A salary of £22-£28 per hour is offered, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking to start or continue their career in education.

In addition to the salary, candidates will receive dedicated consultant support, access to online training resources, and a recommend-a-friend incentive program.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Royal Society for Public Health qualifications (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) desired
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or residency within the country
  • Previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
  • Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum frameworks and assessments
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references from previous child-focused roles
  • Up-to-date DBS registration or willingness to apply
