About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled and patient Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with an EHCP at our school in Sandbach. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and activities, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a Primary Year 2 student with an EHCP.
  • Assist in setting strategies to support the child's social and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to develop individualized education plans.
  • Monitor and report on the child's progress, working effectively with parents and professionals.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with children with social and emotional needs. You should also possess excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding, as well as a strong ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents. A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development are essential.

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week with primary school hours (8:30 am - 3:30 pm).
