Job Title: SEND Classroom and 1 to 1 Teaching Assistants

We are seeking skilled teaching assistants to support students with special educational needs in SEN classrooms and one-to-one settings.

Mad 4 Recruitment Limited is working in partnership with various schools across Cheshire to find temporary teaching assistants for these full-time, long-term positions, which may become permanent.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of curriculum frameworks and assessments, as well as experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.

A competitive salary of £20-£25 per hour is offered, making this an attractive opportunity for those passionate about education and helping others.

In addition to the salary, candidates will receive dedicated consultant support, access to online training resources, and a recommend-a-friend incentive program.

Suitable candidates will undergo thorough safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and interview process.

Key Requirements:

  • Royal Society for Public Health qualifications (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) desired
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or residency within the country
  • Previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
  • Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum frameworks and assessments
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references from previous child-focused roles
  • Up-to-date DBS registration or willingness to apply
