Transformative Opportunity for a Skilled Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Band 5 nurse specialist in haematology at the University Hospital of Wales. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have recent experience working within an acute hospital setting, with a strong ability to administer chemotherapy within six months of commencing post. They will be responsible for delivering care in an outpatient setting, working alongside a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists to provide holistic patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of IV blood products and chemotherapy.
  • Deliver care in an outpatient setting.
  • Develop skills to work within the wider MDT to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with a degree-level nursing qualification.
  • Evidence of ability to manage own workload effectively, excellent command of verbal/written English language.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £32,306 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in delivering high-quality patient care.
