Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a class of students in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure that students remain engaged and focused.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure all students adhere to school behaviour policies.
  • Support students with their work and encourage independent learning.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress and classroom activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Essential).
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting (Desirable).
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, proactive, and patient approach to working with students.
  • An interest in education and supporting student development.
Salary Information

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
