About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Medicines Optimisation Team at Haxby Group in Hull.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to lead the team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee team workload and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the team at a group level and collaborate with other managers to meet team requirements.
  • Liaise with external contractors regarding hours, deployment of staff, work completed, and manage problems with support from the prescribing lead GP.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Mandatory registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • A Masters degree (MSc) in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • In-depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge and an understanding of evidence-based healthcare practices.
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal English.
  • Numerate skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of business rationale.
