Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our respiratory medicine department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative services.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, depending on experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex asthma and a proven track record of delivering excellent clinical care.
  • You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to patients, including satellite clinics in Grimsby or Scunthorpe.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Expertise
  • Provide sound clinical opinion on a range of acute medical conditions.
  • Take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in EBUS procedures.
Leadership and Management
  • Manage and lead medical/surgical teams effectively.
  • Organize and prioritize high-intensity workloads to ensure smooth service delivery.
RequirementsProfessional Qualifications and Experience
  • Full Registration with the GMC is essential.
  • GMC Specialist Registration (or expected inclusion within 6 months) is required.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Education or significant experience in postgraduate training is desirable.
