Job Description

We are excited to offer this challenging opportunity to join our respiratory medicine team as a Consultant in Pulmonary Care. You will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing the field of respiratory medicine.

About Us

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in the region. Our respiratory medicine department provides services to two local acute hospitals and an immediate catchment population of approximately half a million patients.

ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
  • Support both the Asthma and Sleep/NIV service, and provide satellite clinics in either Grimsby or Scunthorpe.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement evidence-based care pathways.
Leadership and Service Development
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and initiatives.
  • Mentor and supervise junior medical staff to ensure their growth and development.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications and Experience
  • Full Registration with the GMC is mandatory.
  • GMC Specialist Registration (or expected inclusion within 6 months) is required.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Education or significant experience in postgraduate training is desirable.
