Job Overview

We are committed to delivering exceptional care for older individuals, and as a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager in achieving this goal. Our client is a small private care provider dedicated to creating a warm and supportive environment where both residents and staff can thrive.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Deputy or Senior Care Assistant in residential care homes for older people. A strong understanding of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) is essential. The successful applicant will be passionate about promoting the wellbeing of residents and providing leadership and management to staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the wellbeing of residents and ensure their personal and social care needs are met.
  • Provide leadership and management to staff, including conducting supervisions and supporting team development.
  • Promote independence and wellbeing among residents.
  • Ensure compliance with care standards and safeguarding regulations.
  • Work 40 hours per week, mainly 9am to 5pm, with every other weekend and 16 hours supernumerary.
