About the Job:

CV-Library is seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in London. In this role, you will work with vulnerable children and families, using your expertise to ensure their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to address identified needs
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant legislation and policies
  • Participate in case conferences and review meetings to ensure the best interests of children are represented

Requirements:

  • A Social Work qualification with HCPC registration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
  • Proven experience handling complex child protection cases and working within statutory children’s settings
  • Strong knowledge of social care theory, legislation, and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • A valid DBS check (preferred)

Benefits:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
