Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in leading the engineering team to achieve service delivery targets and maintain high standards of quality.

  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to manage engineering costs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers to ensure safe and effective working practices.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the engineering team.
Requirements
  • A strong engineering background with experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy vehicles and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with trade union representatives.
