About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketer to join our team at Spowse, a leading relationships and social networking app in Africa. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional campaigns and go-to-market strategies to drive growth and brand awareness in Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive new user growth in Africa
  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategies and regional campaigns to meet short and long-term business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in marketing and provide strategic direction to inform campaigns and strategies
  • Manage internal resources to develop integrated campaigns, including briefing, reviews, and production
  • Lead the ideation and pitching of disruptive go-to-market opportunities and culturally relevant ideas
  • Work closely with the Product Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns celebrating product features and launches
  • Track and measure campaign success, leading communication with internal and external parties
  • Prepare presentations and communicate findings to management and the broader organization
Requirements
  • Experience in large brand campaign management with an understanding of communications and media planning
  • Experience driving customer acquisition and growth through digital and traditional media strategies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with media and creative agencies
  • Experience developing campaigns with disruptive and innovative GTM approaches
  • Solid knowledge of consumers and experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights
  • Strong budget and project management skills, attention to detail, and communication
  • Track record of high-performing digital campaigns against relevant benchmarks
