Product Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketer to help scale Spowse's brand as the leading relationships and social networking app in Africa.
As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional campaigns and go-to-market strategies to drive new user growth in Africa.
You will work closely with our Product Manager to ensure best practice in all aspects of marketing, providing strategic direction to inform campaigns and strategies that meet our short and long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional marketing campaigns to drive new user growth in Africa.
- Work with our marketing team to develop integrated brand campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead on the ideation and pitching of disruptive go-to-market opportunities and culturally relevant opportunistic ideas.
- Manage internal resources to develop integrated campaigns, including briefing, reviews, and production.
- Lead the development of creative assets, ensuring localization across platforms.
- Work collaboratively with our media team and key media partners to build and execute campaign media plans.
- Build marketing processes, toolkits, and best practices in collaboration with other marketing teammates and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with our Product Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns celebrating our product features and launches.
- Identify best practices and ensure consistency across markets.
- Track and measure campaign success, leading communication with internal and external parties.
- Prepare presentations and communicate findings to management and the broader organization.
- Provide oversight and support to junior contributors on the team.
- Manage relevant marketing budgets to deliver work on time and within budget.
We are looking for a highly experienced Product Marketer with a strong background in marketing in a tech environment.
You should have experience driving customer acquisition and growth through the implementation of digital and traditional media strategies.
You should have excellent communication, presentation, management, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with media and creative agencies is a plus.
You should have a solid knowledge of consumers and be able to utilize consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience.
Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time and working with many different internal and external teams is a must.
You should have strong budget and project management skills, attention to detail, and communication.
A track record of high-performing digital campaigns against relevant benchmarks is a plus.
You should understand social networking, dating, or other digital-first platforms and be a strong believer in Spowse's brand vision and values.
You should be able to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating needs.
A positive, committed, 'can-do' attitude and flexible approach are essential.
You should be able to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
