Product Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketer to help scale our brand as the leading relationships and social networking app in Africa.
As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional campaigns and go-to-market strategies to drive new user growth in Africa.
You will work closely with our Product Manager to ensure best practice in all aspects of marketing, providing strategic direction to inform campaigns and strategies that meet our short and long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional marketing campaigns to drive new user growth in Africa.
- Work with our marketing team to develop integrated brand campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead on the ideation and pitching of disruptive go-to-market opportunities and culturally relevant opportunistic ideas.
- Manage internal resources to develop integrated campaigns, including briefing, reviews, and production.
- Lead the development of creative assets, ensuring localization across platforms.
- Work collaboratively with our media team and key media partners to build and execute campaign media plans.
- Build marketing processes, toolkits, and best practices in collaboration with other marketing teammates and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with our Product Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns celebrating our product features and launches.
- Track and measure campaign success, leading communication with internal and external parties.
- Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to management and the broader organization.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Product Marketer with a strong background in marketing in a tech environment.
- Experience in large brand campaign management with an understanding of communications and media planning.
- Experience driving customer acquisition and growth through the implementation of digital and traditional media strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with media and creative agencies.
- Experience developing campaigns with disruptive and innovative GTM approaches and testing new media opportunities.
- Solid knowledge of consumers and experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time and working with many different internal and external teams.
- Strong budget and project management skills, attention to detail, and communication.
- A track record of high-performing digital campaigns against relevant benchmarks.
- Understanding of social networking, dating, or other digital-first platforms and a strong belief in our brand vision and values.
