We are seeking an experienced Autism and Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs secondary school in Oldham. As a dedicated member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism and Complex Needs.

  • Employ evidence-based strategies and methods to prevent challenging behavior and promote positive interactions.
  • Help pupils identify triggers and develop effective coping mechanisms to manage their emotions.
  • Assist with personal care activities such as toileting, feeding, changing, hygiene, and mobility support.

Requirements:
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Two professional references and an Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
  • A fully completed CV highlighting your employment and education history.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
