Company Overview: Prospero Teaching is a specialist school in Oldham, Greater Manchester, catering to children aged 5-16 years old with moderate and complex learning difficulties, and those on the autism spectrum.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide academic support to our students, working closely with the class teacher and assisting pupils both academically and pastorally throughout the school day. The role involves providing tailored support with working with children and SEN, creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn, and succeed, as well as academic support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, and assisting the teacher.
Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be confident, dedicated, and excel in working with children. Previous experience caring for those with additional needs is desirable, and a Teaching Assistant qualification is highly valued but not essential.
Benefits: This temporary position offers a competitive daily rate of pay (£90+), with hours from 9:30am to 3:30pm (Term Time only) Monday to Friday. The start date is ASAP.
