About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant GI Radiologist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board in North Wales. The successful candidate will have a special interest in interventional radiology and contribute to delivering specialist services, including the development of interventional oncology services.

The post holder will work closely with a friendly and enthusiastic team of eleven other consultant radiologists, contributing to various aspects of radiology, including general radiology, on-call rotas, and teaching of radiology trainees and undergraduate students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of interventional oncology services and deliver specialist services
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality radiology services
  • Participate in on-call rotas and contribute to the wider workload of the department
  • Teach and mentor radiology trainees, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff

Requirements

  • Fully qualified GMC registered radiologist with experience in interventional radiology
  • On specialist Register for specialty or Specialist Registrar with CCST due within 6 months of interview date
  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
