Job Title: Behavioural Intervention Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced behavioural intervention specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. This role involves working with pupils with Autism and behavioural challenges within a primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to pupils with Autism and behavioural needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting with pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Proven ability to manage and support challenging behaviours effectively.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
