Are you a tech enthusiast eager to launch your IT career? We're seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic Information Services team at Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Cambridge.

Job Description:

We offer a fullstack (BE-heavy) part-time opportunity, with a focus on SQL and technologies like Drupal, PHP, and React. You'll work on fundraising and alumni relations CRM systems, assist users with technical services, and collaborate with our expert team to design innovative solutions.

In this role, you'll practice software development fundamentals, investigate incidents, and address user concerns. With a strong critical thinking approach and robust investigative techniques, you'll help us deliver excellent service and support.

Working from our centrally located office in Cambridge, you'll enjoy a minimum of three days per week in-house and have the option to work from home for one or two days. A 12-month secondment is available for internal candidates, with the possibility of becoming permanent for exceptional individuals.

Please note that we require a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role. The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
