The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Langshott Manor Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is set for service and all mise en place is prepared
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure correct staffing for service
  • Brief staff on service issues and information for their shift
  • Welcoming guests and taking food and drink orders
  • Hosting the restaurant during service and assisting staff with food and drink service
  • Conducting satisfaction checks to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ensuring food and beverage service standards are met
  • Manage cash handling and end of day procedures
  • Ensure the restaurant is closed down at the end of service and left ready for the following shift

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a quality restaurant environment
  • Proven record of experience in planning, training, and supervising a team to ensure excellence in guest service
  • Good knowledge of food and wines
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
