SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Hackney

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Hackney to find an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to supporting students with diverse Special Educational Needs.

The role involves working with a dedicated team to provide education and support to students with SEN. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Working in class and with small groups of students under the guidance of the school SEN co-ordinator
  • Collaborating with a skilled team of educators to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with the implementation of individualised education plans
  • Providing additional support to students during lessons
  • Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential

Working Conditions:

The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, term time only. The working day will run from 8.15 am to 3.45 pm, although you may be required to attend staff meetings on occasions.

Salary:

The role offers a competitive daily rate of £90-95 per day.
