Job Title: Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Assist students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their learning and development
  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:

A relevant qualification or experience in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistant

Preferred Qualifications:

A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours in a school setting, supporting students with SEN. The candidate must be able to adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized support as needed.
