Job Title: Special Needs Education Support Worker

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Support Worker to join our team.

This role involves supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting, working closely with teachers to develop tailored lesson plans, and providing one-on-one support to students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs in the classroom.
  • Assisting the teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.
  • Supporting students with their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification or any other related fields.
  • Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and empathy when working with students.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a classroom setting within a school.
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 15:30.
