Infant Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Infant Care Specialist to join our team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 3-24 months, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support babies' cognitive, social, and motor skill development.
- Provide high-quality personal care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Establish strong relationships with parents through effective communication, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
- Supervise and support the development of room staff, offering guidance and training to ensure they meet the highest standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a secure and healthy environment for infants and staff alike.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with babies aged 0-24 months, demonstrating expertise in infant care and development.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices in the early years.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with parents and colleagues.
- Leadership skills, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and support to infants and their families.
The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
