About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical, management, and professional leadership to support the delivery of high-quality care to young people in our Secure Children's Homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practice and high-quality care.
  • Manage and develop the team, including staff supervision, performance management, and training.
  • Develop and implement service plans, ensuring effective partnership working with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • First-level registered nurse qualification (RNMH, RMN, RNLD, or equivalent) or social worker/OT/clinical psychologist qualification.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification or training.
  • Experience of coordinating and managing staff resources, working within a multidisciplinary team, and providing community-based mental health services.
  • Leadership skills, including experience of leading teams and taking on a leadership role in project management.
  • Commitment to partnership working, including multi-agency and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
