About the Company

As a result, they are looking to take on a number of talented Software Engineering Managers to support the Head of Engineering with their people and delivery management responsibilities.

The Role

  • Experience or exposure to line management, including 121s and career progression planning
  • Understanding of development principles, such as SOLID
  • Delivery using agile methodologies
  • Experience working in an environment that promotes continuous improvement processes
  • Manage people and have the communication skills and empathy required to successfully coach/mentor in order to improve performance

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team, managing people, and working in an environment that promotes continuous improvement. They will also have strong communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor team members.

Working Arrangements

This is a permanent role that requires the candidate to spend 1 day per week in the office, either in Newcastle or London. The role comes with a salary of £70-80,000, depending on experience.
