Adult & Paediatric Administrator/Crisis Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrator/Crisis Worker at our Willow Tree SARC in Darlaston, Wednesbury. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative organisation that provides expert patient-centred services.
As an Administrator/Crisis Worker, you will play a critical role in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required. You will act as the advocate for patients who attend the Centre, empowering them to feel in control and supporting them during the forensic examination process.
The role involves providing telephone information and support, assisting in the administration and management process of adult or child patients and their families, and ensuring a patient-centered service. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of DNA decontamination and assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding the management of historic cases.
This is a full-time vacancy of 32 hours per week, with shift hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts as an out-of-hours Crisis Worker on an on-call basis from 5:00pm to 9:00am.
Key Responsibilities- Provide telephone information and support to patients and their families.
- Assist in the administration and management process of adult or child patients and their families.
- Ensure a patient-centered service, providing advocacy support and empowering patients to feel in control.
- Maintain a high standard of DNA decontamination between forensic cases.
- Assist patients and liaise with other agencies regarding the management of historic cases.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
- Experience completing administrative duties, including data collection and manipulation.
- Ability to drive and have access to a car 24/7.
