About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the efficient and safe operation of our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals to achieve exceptional results in terms of productivity, quality, and safety.
  2. Drive Process Improvements: You will analyze and implement process improvements to optimize productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including management, to standardize shift practices and drive operational excellence.
  4. Analyze and Improve Shift Performance: You will analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
  5. Develop and Implement Safety Initiatives: You will develop and implement safety initiatives to create a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team.
About the Team

You will be part of the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, which plays a critical role in our success. Our team uses air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, to ensure maximum efficiency in our transportation network.

Requirements
  1. Relevant Experience: You will have relevant experience in people management, logistics, and transportation.
  2. Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written English and local language proficiency.
  3. Analytical Skills: You will have advanced analytical skills, including the ability to use data to influence business decisions.
  4. Leadership Skills: You will have strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
