As a Transportation Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on owning and driving a culture of safety, upholding quality and shift performance standards, and overseeing process improvements within your area.
About the Team:Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a central role in our success, using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions, ensuring maximum efficiency in our transport operations.
Requirements:- Transport Managers Certificate: Hold a Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) National and International.
- Leadership Experience: Relevant experience in leading a busy and large-scale transport operation within a growing and rapidly scaling business.
- Performance Metrics: Experience with performance metrics and process improvement, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Master's Degree: Master's Degree in Operations Research, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar related discipline.
- Operator's Licence: Experience of being named on an Operator's Licence within the Transport industry.
