We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the efficient and safe operation of our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
  • Analyse and improve processes to maintain high quality and productivity levels
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes and improve customer service
  • Monitor shift performance and implement actions to improve operational excellence
  • Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
A Day in the Life

You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on owning and driving a culture of safety and upholding quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements and drive implementation.

About the Team

Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a critical role in our success. As part of ATS, you will be part of a diverse team that uses air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, to drive maximum efficiency in our transport operations.

Requirements
  • A degree
  • Relevant experience in people management
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Relevant experience in using data to influence business decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
  • Experience working in another logistics environment
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite
