About the Role

As a Territory Sales Manager at W McClure Ltd., you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory. You will develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • New Business Pursuit: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, head office leads, and personal lead generation.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance and give feedback on competitor activities to head office as needed.
  • Internal Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments to aid the smooth running of the business.
  • Industry Representation: Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and expand its professional network.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager or similar sales role would be an advantage.
  • Sales Principles: Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and customer relationship management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software would be an advantage.
  • Travel Requirements: Must hold a valid driving license and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
