About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Kitchen Team Member to join our team at Ibis. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service, sharing ideas and expertise to drive excellence.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met, and feedback is acted upon to improve our service.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Stock Management: Effectively manage stock levels, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all kitchen equipment, reporting any issues to management to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a kitchen porter or kitchen team member is preferred but not essential.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work scheduled shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
