We're seeking a highly skilled Ad Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in managing the entire ad operations process, including ad trafficking and optimizing supply partner value through effective yield management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programmatic echo systems and real-time bidding (RTB) processes, with a focus on video mobile in-app and web video advertising.

About the Role

As an Ad Operations Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up ad server configurations that meet demand and supply partner specifications
  • Managing implementation, monitoring, and optimization of ad activity across various platforms, including programmatic RTB and ad campaigns (IOs, PMPs, PGs)
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth delivery of technical solutions and articulate requirements for ad configuration processes and integrations
  • Executing end-to-end ad campaigns from proposal creation to final campaign success delivery, ensuring timely and accurate implementation
  • Implementing and managing yield strategy to drive revenue growth and improve yield, ensuring revenue, eCPM, and fill rates goals are met
  • Generating and analyzing reports on ad performance and providing insights for continuous improvement
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in inventory management, monitoring, and optimizing, preferably on the publisher side
  • A strong understanding of programmatic echo systems and RTB processes
  • Expertise in video formats (VAST) in mobile in-app and web environments
  • Proven hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM)
  • Experience in technical integrations of SSPs and DSPs (VAST, RTB, pre-bid, and SDK)
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, particularly with the programmatic RTB echo system
  • Analytics and modeling skills, comfort with manipulating large datasets in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver results of analyses

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
