About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Colas Ltd as a Quarry and Asphalt Plant Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant and quarry equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance checks to identify any anomalies and plan the type of maintenance required.
- Manage technical information and interpret system data to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
- Test new equipment and verify its operating status to anticipate breakdowns and control the installation.
- Diagnose the origin of breakdowns, plan the maintenance program, and participate in repairs as soon as possible.
- Update maintenance sheets and ensure accurate records are kept.
Requirements
- Experience working in an industrial environment or facilities with a technical understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
- Ability to replace broken or defective components in machinery or equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
