About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry and Asphalt Plant General Fitter to join our team at Colas Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant and quarry equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on asphalt plant and quarry equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Identify and address any anomalies or issues with equipment, planning and implementing maintenance schedules as needed.
  • Manage technical information and interpret system data to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Test and verify new equipment, anticipating potential breakdowns and controlling installation.
  • Participate in repairs and updates, ensuring maintenance sheets are up-to-date.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial environment, with a technical understanding of electrical or mechanical systems and the ability to replace broken or defective components in machinery or equipment.
